Teaching Artistry

Art Experiences that Inspire Creativity, Confidence & Connection

At Caron Designs, I offer hands-on art experiences that spark imagination, build confidence, and bring people together through the joy of making.

As a teaching artist, I believe creativity is not just about making something beautiful—it’s about exploration, self-expression, and connection. Whether working with children, adults, or community groups, my goal is to create welcoming, engaging environments where everyone feels capable and inspired.

My Approach

My teaching blends:

  • Step-by-step guidance with room for personal creativity
  • Accessible techniques using fiber arts, mixed media, and hands-on making
  • Encouragement and confidence-building for all skill levels
  • Connection to materials and process (wool, texture, color, form)

Participants leave not only with something they’ve made—but with a sense of pride, calm, and creative possibility.

  • Libraries and continuing education programs
  • Senior centers and community spaces

After spending years in a full-time career, I’ve returned to my roots in art—bringing together my love of teaching, making, and creating meaningful experiences for others.
